Both are charged with Attempted Theft, Possession of Instruments of Crime and Trespassing after being caught attempting to eliminate wheels and rims from vehicles on the Kelly Automotive lot at four hundred thirty seven E Main St. Both boys were arraigned and remanded to the Lehigh County Prison on $20,000 bail.

February 15, 2017

At 9:20 am this morning, a masculine entered the Key Bank located at seven hundred thirty one Chestnut St and demanded money while displaying a handgun. The masculine left with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle which was spotted by Emmaus Police on Lehigh St near 33rd St SW. When Police attempted to stop the vehicle, it fled north on Lehigh St then onto I-78 eastbound and three hundred nine southbound. The pursuit ended in Upper Saucon Township after a State Police Trooper used an intervention mechanism with his State Police vehicle. Taken into custody was John Cruz, 41, of Allentown. Cruz is facing the following charges: one count of Armed Robbery, three counts of Plain Attack, three counts of Terroristic Threats and one count of Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. The getaway vehicle driven by Cruz was found to be stolen from Fountain Hill earlier this morning. Extra charges related to the stolen vehicle are pending investigation by the Lehigh County Auto Theft Task Force.

Two/Four/17: Harm reported to a two thousand two Ford truck parked to the rear of victim’s residence in the two hundred block of N 6th St. On Two/8/17 the same victim reported extra harm to the same vehicle.

Two/6/17: (6) reported Thefts from Vehicles which occurred overnight. Thefts occurred in the residential area of the seven hundred blocks of Donald Dr. and Spruce St, the nine hundred block of Franklin St and the one thousand block of Harris Dr. All of the thefts involved unlocked vehicles being rummaged. One victim reported the loss of a cell-phone, cash and computer tablet. Another victim reported the loss of a pair of boots. Other losses included liberate switch. Emmaus Police Department’s K9 Ronny has received a bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. K9 Ronny’s vest is sponsored by The Landis Family Foundation and embroidered with the sentiment “Gifted with gratitude – The Landis Family Foundation”.

Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is a 501c (Three) charity located in East Taunton, MA whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies across the United States. The non-profit was established in two thousand nine to assist law enforcement agencies with this potentially lifesaving bod armor for their four-legged K9 officers. Since its inception, Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. provided over Two,200 protective vests, in fifty states, through private and corporate donations, at a cost of over 1.9 million dollars. At 9:45 this morning a masculine entered the BB&T Bank located at one thousand one hundred thirty Chestnut St. and demanded money while displaying a handgun. The masculine left with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle that was recovered several blocks from the Bank. The vehicle had been previously reported stolen from a business in Upper Macungie Township. Anyone with information may contact Emmaus Police Detectives at (610) 967-3113.

Criminal Mischief: reported on 11/22/16 in the seven hundred blk of Lawrence Drive. Actor threw a glass bottle at victim’s shed causing a crack. Estimated harm $100

Identity Theft: reported on 11/23/16. Unknown actor attempted to open a checking account using victim’s information.

Possession of Marijuana: Brian Zielinski, eighteen of Allentown was arrested on 11/24/16 for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Alcohol by a Minor and a Crimson Light Disturbance in the one hundred blk of Main Street.

Hit and Run: reported on 11/26/16 in the one hundred blk of E Main Street. Unknown vehicle struck victim’s crimson Mazda causing harm to driver’s side front corner.

Plain Attack: Vaugh Robinson, thirty three of Emmaus was arrested for Ordinary Onslaught and two (Two) counts of Disorderly Conduct on 11/27/16 after being involved in a domestic dispute in the five hundred blk of Broad Street. Robinson was transported to Lehigh County Booking Center and processed.

Ordinary Onslaught: John Cramsey, twenty of Wescosville and Darrian Brubacher, twenty one of Emmaus were arrested on 11/22/16 for Plain Attack, Harassment and Conspiracy to Commit Onslaught in the zero blk of N 6th Street after physically assaulting the victim, causing bruising and cuts.

Theft from a Motor Vehicle: reported on 11/21/16 in the four hundred blk of E Harrison Street. Actor entered victim’s unlocked vehicle and eliminated $8 cash
