There are a number of wineries that participate and these are all located in the Geelong wine region which consists of the Surf Coast, Moorabool Valley and surrounding area. There is always a good number of wineries that showcase their premium wines (at least 25) and there is slew of delightful dining as well.
• The annual Geelong Cup commenced back in one thousand eight hundred seventy two and takes place during the Spring (the usual date is the Wednesday after the Caulfield Cup and thirteen days before the Melbourne Cup).
