A TEENAGE F4 racing driver has suffered gam injuries after a horrific crash at Donington Park today, officials say.
Appalling movie shows the moment Billy Monger, 17, smashed into another vehicle which appeared to have stopped on the track in front of him.
Horrific footage of the moment the two vehicles collided was captured by the camera on board Billy's vehicle.
He was seen rounding another vehicle that blocks his view of Finnish racer Patrik Pasma's slowed car, before it looms large in front of him before he has time to stop or swerve.
ITV4 reported Billy was conscious after the crash, and about ninety minutes was spent removing him from the wreckage.

The F4 later released a statement telling: “Monger has been cautiously extracted from the car after suffering gam injuries, and has since been airlifted to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for further examination.
“Pasma was also cautiously extracted from his car. He was fully conscious and instantly taken to the on-site medical centre.
“He has since been taken to the Queen's Medical Centre for further assessment.”
Dramatic photos taken at the scene of the display an air ambulance landing on the track as he was airlifted to hospital.
Patrik's racing team posted on Facebook: “Patrik, who is fully conscious and able to communicate with team personnel, will now be transferred by ambulance to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham for further checks and observation overnight.
“Our thoughts remain with Billy Monger who was also involved in the incident.”
Fans who witness the crash posted numerous tributes to the promising youngster, as commentators described the smash as “horrendous”.
One person wrote on Twitter: “Hope Billy Monger is ok.”
Another said: “Hoping for good news on Billy Monger. That was horrendous.”
Matt wrote on Twitter: “That @BritishF4 crash was one of the worst I've seen. Decently scary and looked truly bad for Billy Monger. Hope both drivers are OK @ITV4”
