(Editor’s Note: The power rankings reflect latest spectacle along with looking ahead to expected spectacle in the upcoming races. Each week there will be an updated version of the rankings.)

After three straight second-place finishes, Kyle Larson broke through for his 2nd career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series victory and ended the weekend sweep at Auto Club.

Check out who are the largest movers in this week’s edition of NASCAR Power Rankings:

Kyle Larson, +1

There’s no denying Kyle Larson is the most powerful and superior driver in NASCAR right now. He’s been in the top two on the final lap of every race this season.

Brad Keselowski, +Two

When the green flag flapped it looked like Keselowski would be falling hard, but a resilient effort for a second-place finish was awesome.

Martin Truex Jr., +Two

The No. Seventy eight Furniture Row Racing Toyota was arguably the second-fastest car on track all day. A late gamble knocked him to fourth, but still a strong effort.

Pursue Elliott, -3

Elliott drops from the top spot but that’s only because of the superior spectacles a few others have had lately.

Joey Logano, +1

Outside of his sucked tire last week at Phoenix, Logano has been among the most consistent drivers to commence 2017. Expect the No. Twenty two Team Penske gang to break through for a win sooner than later.

Kevin Harvick, -3

Much like Keselowski, Harvick battled to overcome harm from green flag contact, he didn’t recover as well as the No. Two however.

Kyle Busch, +Two

After a rough begin to the season, Busch has shown speed as the top JGR Toyota the past two races.

Ryan Blaney, +Two

Another solid result for the Wood Brothers and Blaney. He joins Elliott in the next youthfull driver to win category.

Denny Hamlin, -2

Hamlin was menacing to win but after a spree of cautions came out late, he got liberate on the restart and dropped to fourteen th .

Clint Bowyer, +Two

Excellent result for Bowyer with his best finish since Sonoma 2015. He’s looking to end his long winless streak, and it won’t be surprising if it comes in the next few weeks.

Jamie McMurray, +Trio

After several weeks of running well with strong cars, it’s time for us to display McMurray some love.

Ryan Newman, +1

Newman had some issues on Sunday but followed up his Phoenix win with a fifteen th -place finish.
