GTA Online Alien Egg Mission

The latest alien encounter was recently discovered by GTA super-sleuths Chilliad Mystery Gurus. In the Gunrunning update, one of the supply missions sends players recovering an alien egg from a crashed UFO in the Zancudo riverbed.

Exposed via the Chilliad Mystery subreddit, this mission comes in addition to all of the other alien easter eggs and UFOs hidden in the story mode of GTA V.

How to Unlock the Alien Mission

The mission is a supply run for your weapons manufacturing bunker, so it is launched from the Disruption Logistics laptop in your bunker. However, according to the CMG team, the requirements for receiving this assignment from Agent fourteen are as goes after:

• Players must have ended at least 600 weapons sales missions.
• Launch a Steal Supplies mission inbetween the in-game hours of 21:00 (9:00pm) – 23:00 (11:00pm).

Discovering UFOs

After achieving 100% game completion in the single-player story mode of GTA Five, players will be able to see UFOs hovering about Los Santos and Blaine County at certain times of day or under specific weather conditions. Click here for more.

The Ongoing Mystery

Amidst a hodgepodge of GTA five Alien sightings, UFO appearances, Flying Saucers, strange codes, and jetpack rumors, a tantalizing unsolved mystery resumes to frustrate players.

What Do These Symbols Mean? 

Explorers have found   spacecraft hovering over mountaintops and concealed in the skies high above significant landmarks. After meeting Omega in the desert, a series of glowing, pulsing Spaceship Parts show up scattered across San Andreas. Tracking them down leads to the creation of a lil’ spacecraft, and unlocking of the Space Docker.

Delvers have reportedly made some progress in the meta-game, discovering Jetpack References in Source Code, but the mystery remains perplexing and unsolved. Is there something still hidden in the game waiting to be discovered by a world utter of searchers, or does an response await in DLC?

The Truth is Out There, Somewhere

For over a year, dedicated GTA five players have combed the map of San Andreas amassing clues, searching for anything which might explain the meaning of the glyphs. Online communities have grown up around the mystery, with members interchanging notes, exchanging discoveries, and systematically testing, substantiating, and debunking theories.

The Beginning of the Search

A cryptic painting on the wall of the Cable Car station atop Mt. Chiliad was one of the earliest sources of intrigue for GTA conspiracy-hunters.The main map is remarkably similar to the shaft and chamber layout of a pyramid, suggesting the possible existence of a subterranean dungeon space. Also scattered around the pic are a number of smaller markers. While the meaning of many of the symbols within have been encrypted, the large icons of cracking egg, a spaceship, and a humanoid form remain an intriguing puzzlement.

The symbol matches the UFO depicted in the Cable Car station painting. On the back of the platform it reads “Come back when your story is finish.”

The cautiously hidden painting underneath the platform atop Chiliad’s highest point is the sighting point for a well-documented postgame Flying Saucer appearance, which takes place late at night during thunderstorms. Other symbols likely indicate other known Glyphs spaced around the mountain. The evidence strongly suggests a relationship inbetween the mountain and the mysterious uninterpreted Glyphs.

Latest Developments

Working together, members of the Reddit community have discovered methods for locating interiors to structures all over the GTA map. including a flying saucer interior. One of these chambers might prove to be a secret area or a teleporter leading to hidden content. Some interiors have been explored and proved to be set lumps for cut scenes, but others remain to be examined.

Recently, dedicated detectives have developed several fresh theories. Referencing spectrographs of the Space Docker horn, Reddit user DidSomebodySayFIB identified them as similar in appearance to the alien script (or code) in Sandy Shores.

Meantime, other users have drawn a connection inbetween the fountain outside Labyrinth Bank and the egg. Look cautiously for the form and the crack. 

Reddit user Huge_Dabs notes a possible connection to Sacred Geometry indicating a hidden egg clue as well: Note the similarity in the Egg of Life pattern to the fountain’s center. 

Could something be hidden in or near the Labyrinth Bank building?

Other Theories and Connections

Dedicated players have used exploits to spawn Vehicles under the map. Using their new-found mobility, they have discovered hidden FIB textures underneath the Mt. Chiliad platform and strange objects underneath Ft. Zancudo. [1]

Some players speculate that the Mt. Chiliad Map should be laid over the GTA five pack-in paper map to expose a number of significant locations. Current efforts center around centering the map above the northward edge of the island, tho’ this produces no discernible explanation for the three main Glyphs.

An alternate theory (picture below) involves lining up the eye at the top of the mountain (crimson dot) with the glyphs on the the side of the mountain (green dots) leaving one half faded glyph (green circle).

While intriguing, these theories fail to address the purpose of the connecting lines inbetween Glyphs, as well as the three large symbols. Source code for the 1.12 update reportedly includes Jet Pack references. As reported by IGN, the fresh code reads: 

Alien Flying Saucers

To date four confirmed UFOs have been located in GTA Five. Details on each are available at UFOs. Most pertinent to the search is the presence of a UFO directly over Mt. Chiliad, appearing in the rain at three AM after 100% completion. 

The Search for Underground Tunnels at Mt Chilliad

Latest reports of players using clipping glitches to build up access to the inwards of the mountain to showcase tunnels have mostly been dismissed as known and already accessable tunnels:

However the hunt still proceeds as tunnels are not made visible until in close proximity. Current searches are revolving around the Witnessed Mill drain grates.

After the release of the GTA Content Creator, players utilizing the implement discovered that a sealed elevator door in Ft. Zancudo can in fact be opened. The door has often been a source of speculation as a possible entry point to an underground area related to the Mt. Chiliad map. Unluckily, the elevator inwards is presently inoperable.

The Jetpack Connection

Online communities of UFO hunters have focused largely on a resemblance of the humanoid glyph to a person railing a jetpack. Many people believe that unlocking the riddle of Mt. Chiliad will unlock access to this GTA unicorn item.

Code Speculation

The UFO hippie camp near Sandy Shores is ringed with a trail of Alien script. Some players believe the script might contain a decipherable code, others believe it to have ties to Yoga positions which are themed across the camp.

The cracks inbetween examples below are limited by movie capture capibilities, not by any distinctive violates in the text. Viewed left to right from the outside of the ring, the code reads:

It’s also possible that the code reads from the inwards of the ring, in which case the pics would be flipped and the order reversed. 

Other Alien Stuff

These flying saucers aren’t the very first hint of extra-terrestrial life in GTA Five. The GTA five Special Edition map includes a UFO part location exposed by exposure to black light.

Alien Glyphs are concealed across the map, including drawings on Mt. Chiliad, near the Altruist Camp, and at the Hippie Camp. 

Aliens also make cameo appearances frozen in ice in the Prologue Mission and wandering the lots of the movie studio.
