2017 Hyundai Xcent Facelift Launched: Price in India starts at Five.38 Lakh

Hyundai India has ultimately launched the two thousand seventeen Hyundai Xcent facelift in India. The car has been priced at INR Five.38 lakh for the petrol base ‘E’ variant while the top of the line SX(O) diesel variant is priced at INR 8.42 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). At this price point, the all fresh Xcent will challenge against the soon to be launched Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze, Ford Figo Aspire and the recently launched Tata Tigor Styleback. With the latest launch of the Tigor and the upcoming Swift Dzire on the anvil, a facelift was on the cards from Hyundai Motors, and the company has done just that. The two thousand seventeen Hyundai Xcent sports fresh front fascia along with redesigned rear section while the car also gets extra features. Design wise, the car sports fresh chrome finished cascading grille, flanked by smoked headlamps, fresh front bumper design and horizontal fog lamps clusters that gets integrated LED daytime running lights. Moving on to the sides, the overall side profile of the fresh Xcent is fairly similar to the outgoing car while only switch is the availability of fresh alloy wheels. Dimensionally, the fresh Hyundai Xcent facelift measures at three thousand nine hundred ninety five mm in length, one thousand six hundred sixty mm in width and three thousand nine hundred ninety five mm in height while the wheelbase is pegged at two thousand four hundred twenty five mm. In terms of features, the car gets an all-new 7-inch touch-screen Audio Movie Navigation infotainment system with support for MirrorLink, Voice Recognition, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Powering the Hyundai Xcent two thousand seventeen are a set of 1.2-litre petrol and diesel power-train options. The fresh 1.2-litre U2 CRDi diesel unit is capable of producing seventy four BHP of maximum power along with one hundred ninety Nm of peak torque. This motor comes coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission. The petrol variant gets a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine that is tuned to pump out eighty one BHP of maximum power while developing one hundred ten Nm of peak torque. This motor comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox while a 4-speed automatic transmission is available as an option. The fresh Xcent is available in five colour options – Polar White, Marina blue, Starlet Dust, Sleek Silver and Wine Crimson.
